Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 7, 2026. This policy describes how Roundtable collects, uses, and protects personal information.

Tyson Kielt operates Roundtable. Contact our support address below for questions about this policy or requests relating to your data.

What you share with us

When you create an account, we use your name and email to provide your account. Your saved restaurants, saved deals, cuisine preferences, preferred city, and recent searches help personalise your experience. Restaurant recommendations and city launch requests include the information you enter in those forms.

Sign in with Google

If you choose Google sign-in, Google shares basic profile information with Roundtable through Supabase Auth: your Google account email address, display name, and profile picture (if available). We use this information only to create and maintain your Roundtable account, keep you signed in, and show your profile in the app. Roundtable does not use Google user data for advertising, sell it to third parties, or use it to train machine-learning models. We do not request access to other Google services such as Gmail, Calendar, or Drive.

You can revoke Roundtable's access to your Google account at any time from your Google Account permissions page. You can also sign out of Roundtable or delete your account from your profile settings.

Location and discovery

You can choose a city without sharing your precise location. If you allow browser location access, your coordinates are used to find nearby restaurants and sort results by distance. You can change that permission in your browser. Browsing is available without creating an account. Hosting may provide an approximate city based on your connection to suggest a market; a city you choose takes precedence. We do not save that connection address as your location preference.

How the service uses data

We use account information to authenticate you, keep your favourites in sync, and operate the features you request. We use restaurant reports and recommendations to review listings. If you join a city waitlist, we use your email to notify you about that city's launch.

Services that help run Roundtable

The application uses Supabase for authentication, database storage, and uploaded images; Netlify for website hosting; Resend for transactional email when enabled; Stripe for restaurant subscription payments; and PostHog for product analytics when configured. Restaurant payment details are processed by Stripe. Roundtable does not store full payment card numbers.

Cookies and browser storage

Necessary session cookies keep you signed in. Browser storage can remember your chosen city and guest recent searches. You can remove this information using your browser settings. Product analytics uses pseudonymous identifiers and basic page and performance measurements. We exclude account names, full email addresses, precise coordinates, search text, and URL query strings from these events. Session replay and automatic interaction recording are disabled in this application. Analytics respects your browser's Do Not Track setting.

First-party activity records help measure discovery and restaurant interest. They use your account identifier when signed in, or a temporary random session identifier for guests, without search text or precise coordinates. Raw activity records are removed after 60 days; aggregate counts support marketplace and restaurant reporting.

Hosting and analytics providers also receive technical connection data, including your IP address. We disable location enrichment in analytics; the analytics provider may retain the connection IP address under the project's data settings.

Your choices

You can browse as a guest, remove saved items, change your preferences, and sign out at any time. Launch email is limited to the city request you make. For data access, correction, or deletion requests, contact us at antonio.royeazar@gmail.com.

Retention and security

Account data is retained while it is needed to operate your account. Access to private records is restricted to the account owner and authorised service operations. When you delete your account, we remove your personal profile data and associated private records according to our deletion process.
